1. Who we are

FlyingWithGear operates paragliding flights and pilot training in Bir Billing, Himachal Pradesh, India. You can reach us at hello@flyingwithgear.in or +91 78320 41709.

2. What we collect

Contact form submissions

When you fill out the booking inquiry form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the type of experience you're interested in, and any message you provide.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the site. This collects anonymised page views, device type, approximate geographic location (city-level), and interaction events like clicks and form submissions. We do not collect names, email addresses, or phone numbers via analytics.

Fraud detection

We run a first-party tracking pixel that posts to pixel.flyingwithgear.in to detect bot traffic and fraudulent form submissions. It records your IP address, country (from Cloudflare), browser user-agent, page URL, referrer, and basic interaction events (clicks, form submissions, tab switches). It does not collect names, email addresses, or phone numbers.

Cookies and local storage

• _ga, _ga_* - Google Analytics measurement cookies
• cookie_dismissed - local storage key (not a cookie) recording that you dismissed the cookie banner so we don't show it again
• sessionKey, sessionKeyExpiry, fraudlytixFirstVisit - local storage keys used by the fraud-detection pixel to identify return visits

3. Why we collect it

• To respond to your booking enquiries
• To understand which parts of the site are useful and improve the content
• To measure the effectiveness of any advertising we run

4. Who we share it with

Your form submissions are processed by:

• Web3Forms - delivers the form submission to our inbox
• Google Sheets - logs the submission for our records
• hCaptcha - protects the form against spam and bots

Analytics data is processed by Google (Analytics + Tag Manager).

Fraud-detection data is processed on our own infrastructure at pixel.flyingwithgear.in. It is not shared with third parties.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with marketing partners.

5. Your rights

You have the right to ask us what data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@flyingwithgear.in and we will respond within 30 days.

6. Data retention

Form submissions are retained indefinitely unless you request deletion. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months in line with GA4 default settings.

7. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Material changes will be announced on the homepage.
